Systems and Network Administrator (m, f, d)

Your Responsibilities

The purpose of this position is to oversee the systems, servers, and networking devices of the university deployed locally and on the cloud.

Key Activities and Responsibilities:

Administration of servers and networking devices
Deploy and manage cloud VMs and resources, ensuring connectivity, and optimizing efficiency and performance
Implementing IT security rules and enhancing device protection & backups.
Ensuring systems, servers, and devices are patched and updated
First and Second level support for all employees and users
Collaboration in IT projects

Supporting function when required:

Installation of computers, software, and staff onboarding
Ticket system support

Your profile

At least 5 years of professional experience in IT system administration and networking.
Identify, prioritize, and resolve IT issues with the ability to anticipate risks and develop mitigating actions
Experience in firewalls, VPNs, switching, routing, WLANs is a must
Experience in Office 365 and cloud machines, networking, storages.
Configuration of Windows servers, Active Directory, and client systems (PC and Mac)
Strong communication skills, teamwork and problem solving skills
Good knowledge of German and English
