Your Responsibilities
You should be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of new trends and applications in the field of Software Engineering as well as in teaching students from various cultures.
Key Activities & Responsibilities: - Conducting introductory and advanced courses in the areas of Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems, and Parallel Computing,
- Planning and implementation of research and development projects including publication activities in the field of Software Engineering
- Advising and supervising students
- Grading student work, supervising seminars, projects, bachelor, master and doctoral theses
- Establishing partnerships with companies and institutions to further grow the network of the University at the Potsdam location
- Administrative activities and committee work
- Advising prospective students

The hiring requirements for a professorship are based on the provisions of §41 of the university law of the Federal State of Brandenburg/Germany. The award of the title Professor by the University of Applied Sciences of Europe is contingent on the approval of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Culture of the Federal State of Brandenburg/Germany.
