Your Responsibilities
We are looking for a new colleague to join our Business Team in Hamburg/Germany starting this summer semester 2025, who shares our vision of excellence in education and who is committed to making a difference in the lives of our students and staff.

The teaching load comprises 3 SWS.

The opportunity:
  • To become a freelance lecturer at a university of applied sciences sharing your knowledge and passion with students from all over the world

Key Activities & Responsibilities:
  • Implementation of the Bachelor course (language of instruction: English), in particular: Terminologies in the fields of journalism, media, digitalization and communication / development of media, information and reception skills among students / latest developments in digital media such as social media and experimental media / intercultural aspects of communication / participation patterns in digital media / news reception in democratic, authoritarian and totalitarian societies / information wars / terrorist organizations, extremist groups and disinformation campaigns / propaganda, fake news, hate speech
  • Preparation and evaluation of certificates of achievement
Your profile
  • Relevant professional experience
  • Place of living in or near Hamburg/Germany
  • Completed relevant university studies
  • Teaching experience at universities
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Organizational skills and willingness to work hard
