Your Responsibilities
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
- You are the first point of contact for our students, faculty, prospective students and staff in the service departments
- Responsible for the daily management of all service functions on campus in collaboration with the Department Managers
- Ensuring the highest quality of service for our students as well as for the employees of the GUS Group on campus
- Supervise and promote strategic and operational collaboration between the individual institutions on campus
- Ensuring the proper handling of new construction and renovations in close cooperation with external service providers
- Establishment and further development of services and processes in the Service Centre together with the subject experts (Student Hub, Scheduling, Int. Office, Career Centre, Examination Office, etc.) as well as Facility, Occupational Safety and Health Protection
- Planning and optimization of room utilization, capacity utilization and rental management
- Development, coordination and implementation of security concepts (e.g. GDPR)
- Being involved in selection of contracts and negotiations with external service providers as well as monitoring of external providers such as caterers, security services, cleaning service providers, etc., in addition to the identification and implementation of potential improvements
- Planning and control of projects to optimize the campus
- Interface to the faculties, vice deans and lecturers as well as to the general administration of departments and students
- Budget and staff responsibility
- Coordinating and ensuring the smooth running of campus events such as campus tours, certificate ceremonies, freshman events, staff events, professional presentations, and developing and implementing other events
