Your Responsibilities

The opportunity:

To become an adjunct lecturer at a university of applied sciences in Hamburg, Germany and to share your 
knowledge and passion with students from all over the world

Key Activities & Responsibilities:
- Implementation of the course (language of instruction: English), in particular:
• Introduction to Digital Work: Digital and virtual work environments and ventures 
• Digital/Virtual Companies and Ecosystems 
• New Work and the digital/virtual context 
• Digital/virtual project work 
• Digital technologies and tools that impact on productivity, innovation and organizational culture in 
digital working environments 
• Digital/Virtual Leadership 
• Digital/Virtual tools and technologies: big data & analytics, cloud computing, mobile technologies, 
artificial intelligence, virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality 
• Digital/Virtual Collaboration (e.g. in VR, etc.) 
• Digital/Virtual Tools like Alternate Reality (Augmented/Virtual Reality) 
• Digital Lab: concept and application of e.g. Augmented/Virtual Reality for topics in the digital/virtual 
work environment (e.g. content presentation in VR) 
• Intercultural aspects of digital work 
• Digital/virtual incentives and Confidence building in work organizational environments and ecosystems 
• Digital net promoter score systems, digital leadership and other digital performance and value-based 
systems/tools 
- Preparation and evaluation of certificates of achievemen

Your profile

  • Relevant professional experience in the fields of Digital Work
  • Place of residence must be in or near Hamburg/Germany (lectures must take place on-site or in a hybrid model; no option of teaching online)
  • Completed relevant university studies (at least a Master’s degree)
  • Teaching experience at universities is preferred
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Organizational skills and willingness to work hard
  • Experience working in international environments welcome 
  • Must be eligible for freelance work if you are a non-EU citizen, e.g. you have full- or part-time employment or are a full-time registered freelancer
