The purpose of this position is to contribute to the academic excellence and strategic development of
Gisma University of Applied Sciences through high-quality teaching, impactful research, and active
participation within the academic community. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping
and delivering innovative programmes in AI Management, Digital Transformation, and Entrepreneurial
Innovation, with a focus on integrating Generative AI, automation strategies, and disruptive business
models into the curriculum. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with an international
student body, collaborate with industry and research partners, and influence the evolution of AI-centric
business education in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment.
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
- Module responsibility and teaching of Gisma’s Bachelor and Master programmes, particularly in the fields of Artificial Intelligence in Business, Digital Innovation Management, AI Strategy, and related areas, as well as examination, assessments, and student supervision.
- Active participation in programme development, quality assurance, and the integration of applied AI tools and methodologies into the curriculum.
- Design and continuous update of contemporary teaching and learning materials aligned with developments in algorithmic business, AI ethics, and data-led venture creation.
- Initiate, expand, and maintain cooperation with partners in industry and research organisations, particularly in Tech Hubs, AI startups, and digital transformation consultancy environments.
- Participation in national and international accreditation procedures, as required.
- Active engagement in academic administration and committee work.
- Further development of a personal and institutional research profile in Business AI, Innovative
Technology Adoption, or Digital Ecosystems, publication of results in high-quality journals, and
engagement in public dissemination. - Support outreach activities, including student recruitment events and promotion of AI-driven
business study pathways.
