The purpose of this position is to contribute to the academic excellence and strategic development of
Gisma University of Applied Sciences through high-quality teaching, impactful research, and active
participation within the academic community. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping
and delivering innovative programmes in Digital Marketing, Corporate Communication, and Social
Media Strategy, with a focus on integrating content creation, influencer marketing, and data-driven
branding into the curriculum. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with an international
student body, collaborate with industry and research partners, and influence the evolution of modern
communication education in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment.
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
- Module responsibility and teaching of Gisma’s Bachelor and Master programmes, particularly in the fields of Consumer Behavior, Integrated Marketing Communications, Social Media Analytics, and related areas, as well as examination, assessments, and student supervision.
- Active participation in programme development, quality assurance, and the integration of digital storytelling and platform strategies into the curriculum.
- Design and continuous update of contemporary teaching and learning materials aligned with developments in performance marketing, brand management, and viral communication.
- Initiate, expand, and maintain cooperation with partners in industry and researchorganisations, particularly in creative agencies, media houses, and digital marketing departments environments.
- Participation in national and international accreditation procedures, as required.
- Active engagement in academic administration and committee work
- Further development of a personal and institutional research profile in Digital Branding,
Social Media Psychology, or Marketing Automation, publication of results in high-quality
journals, and engagement in public dissemination. - Support outreach activities, including student recruitment events and promotion of AIdriven business study pathways
