The purpose of this position is to contribute to the academic excellence and strategic development of
Gisma University of Applied Sciences through high-quality teaching, impactful research, and active
participation within the academic community. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping
and delivering innovative programmes in Strategic Management, Digital Leadership, and Organizational
Change, with a focus on integrating agile leadership frameworks, digital-first corporate strategies, and
human-centric transformation into the curriculum. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with
an international student body, collaborate with industry and research partners, and influence the
evolution of leadership education in an era of rapid technological disruption.
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
- Module responsibility and teaching of Gisma’s Bachelor and Master programmes, particularly in the fields of Strategic Leadership, Managing Digital Transformation, Change
- Management, and related areas, as well as examination, assessments, and student supervision.
- Active participation in programme development, quality assurance, and the integration of strategic foresight and digital maturity models into the curriculum.
- Design and continuous update of contemporary teaching and learning materials aligned with developments in agile governance, platform economies, and the future of work.
- Initiate, expand, and maintain cooperation with partners in industry and research organisations, particularly in management consultancy, digital innovation labs, and global corporate leadership environments.
- Participation in national and international accreditation procedures, as required.
- Active engagement in academic administration and committee work
- Further development of a personal and institutional research profile in Digital
Transformation Strategy, Leadership Psychology, or Corporate Resilience, publication of
results in high-quality journals, and engagement in public dissemination. - Support outreach activities, including student recruitment events and promotion of AIdriven business study pathways.
