Position Overview:

The Marketing Officer – France will be based in Paris and will report directly to the Head of Marketing – Spain & France. 

This is an entry-level marketing executive role for a creative, organised, and ambitious professional who can combine local market insight with a global outlook. Your knowledge of France’s culture, language, and trends will help shape how we position our programmes for international audiences — including France Domestic, Europe, and Rest of the World. 

You will work closely with central marketing teams in France, Spain, the UK, India, and Germany, who will support in delivering large-scale campaigns. You’ll still be hands-on with many tasks — particularly content creation, local events, and student engagement — but you’ll always have international colleagues and specialist teams to collaborate with. 

We’re looking for someone who is: 
  • Passionate about educationand the opportunities it creates.
  • Ideally aninternational student or graduate, with first-hand experience of global study.
  • Anative French speakerwith fluent English.
  • Creative, enthusiastic, and confident producing content and working with suppliers.
  • Keen to travel for events, filming, and campaign activities.

 
Key Activities & Responsibilities:

1. French Market Insight & Content Creation 
  • Use yourlocal market knowledgeto help adapt global campaigns for international audiences.
  • Produce engaging French-language and English-language content forsocial media, blogs, email campaigns, and video.
  • Capture testimonials, campus life photos, and event footage; coordinate with external providers where needed.
  • Build and maintain acontent asset library(photos, videos, testimonials, graphics) for global use.
  • Act as the on-the-ground marketing presence atopen days, recruitment fairs, and campus events.
2. Lead Generation & Recruitment Support 
  • Contribute to campaigns targetingFrance Domestic, Europe, and Rest of the Worldrecruitment markets.
  • Support the recruitment team by ensuring marketing activities drivequalified leadsand align with enrolment goals.
  • Track campaign performance and share feedback with central teams foroptimisation.
3. Campaign Planning & Execution 
  • Work with the Head of Marketing – Spain & France and central teams in the UK, India, and Germany to deliverintegrated marketing campaigns.
  • Provide local insights and feedback to help ensure campaigns resonate internationally.
  • Coordinate the production, translation, and distribution of marketing materials.
4. Collaboration & Brand Consistency 
  • MaintainBSBI brand guidelinesin all French-language and English-language materials.
  • Collaborate with design, PR, SEO, and social media teams to integrate Paris campus activities into wider campaigns.
  • Partner with academics to help positionprogrammeseffectively for multiple global markets.
5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement 
  • Monitor analytics for social media, email, and campaign activity; prepare regular performance updates.
  • Suggest creative approaches to content, events, and digital engagement based on audience feedback and trends.
  • Stay informed oncompetitor activitiesand relevant market developments.

Your profile
Qualifications/Education 
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Knowledge/Skills 
  • Native French with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Fluent English (additional languages a plus).
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills in French.
  • Familiarity with social media management, email marketing, and content creation.
  • Comfortable with basic video/photo editing tools or working with external providers.
  • Organized, adaptable, and collaborative.
Experience 
  • Minimum 1 year in a marketing-related role (internships included).
  • Experience in content creation, community management, or event participation.
  • Understanding of international audiences or recruitment marketing is desirable.
  • CRM and analytics platform knowledge is a plus.

Deine Aufgaben
ROLE SUMMARY
Assisting the Marketing team in the creation of both online and offline marketing campaigns including, but not limited to, creating and optimising email marketing campaigns, producing promotional material such as brochures and factsheets, managing the content of the website and maintaining healthy relationships with the wider marketing team (PPC team, SEO team, Affiliates Team, Copywriters, Designers and Developers) as well as key stakeholders. Continually displaying in-depth knowledge of marketing good practice and translating ideas across all channels, in line with lead targets and ROI.
The Marketing Officer will also take a hands-on role in measuring ROI, ensuring that campaigns are optimised and completed on time as well as tracked and monitored.

KEY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Supporting the senior members of the team in the development and execution of all marketing campaigns – online and offline.
•    Providing research and understanding business strategy, our industry, competitors, key drivers and environment.
•    Delivering ROI on marketing and sales revenue targets
•    Achieving lead generation targets across all channels
•    Improving consumer journey across all touch points for both prospective and current students
•    Liaising with external partners to support in dual branded marketing communications and activities
•    Supporting and delivering ad hoc projects for the marketing team and group brands based on business needs and dependent on performance.
•    Integrating the social media and PR teams in line with all marketing activities
•    Liaising with the design, copy and brand teams to ensure brand consistency and delivery of all campaigns creatively
•    Working closely with Academics and key stakeholders alongside the rest of the Marketing team to develop engaging positioning for current/new programmes within the marketplace, both in Germany and internationally
•    Working effectively with the wider marketing department, including creative designers, copywriters and other marketing executives and managers to develop creative revenue-focused campaigns

Qualifications/Education - Marketing Degree (or equivalent)

Experience
1+ years’ experience in a marketing-related role
Online marketing experience (social media, content management, Google Ads, paid social, email marketing) and offline (print ads, outdoor campaigns, etc.)
CRM and Data Management experience

The post holder may be asked to undertake different or additional duties in line with business requirements at the request of their line manager.
